  • Where are you from?

    “Cedar City, Utah.”

  • Where would you like to travel?

“I really love Mexico as long as I can convert cash at a good rate and I don’t have to drive.”

  • What is the best and the worst movie you have ever seen?

“Best movie: It’s a tie for Gladiator, V for Vendetta, Life is Beautiful (with subtitles), Revenant, Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, Hot Rod, and Rick & Morty (Seasons 1-4).  Worst Movie: Land Before Time 14.”

  • If you could have a two-hour lunch with one famous or historical figure, who would it be?

“I’m really into Stoic philosophy so a long lunch at my favorite Mexican restaurant eating quesadillas with Seneca, Epictetus, or Marcus Aurelius would be a dream come true.”

  • What’s The Best Advice You Have Ever Received?

“We love what we love. Reason does not enter into it. In many ways, unwise love is the truest love. Anyone can love a thing because. That’s as easy as putting a penny in your pocket. But to love something despite. To know the flaws and love them too. That is rare and pure and perfect.”

  • What irrational fear(s) do you have?

“Narrow slot canyons. Earthquakes will only happen when I’m squeezing through a narrow rock space.”
